Meet our Coaches
Our Generals coaches are all volunteer coaches dedicated to the development of young players both on and off the field. The Generals focus on fundamentals, sportsmanship, and a love of the game of baseball.
Mike Caudill


Mike has been coaching youth baseball for 20 years. He has coached teams in multiple age groups from age 4 up to age 15, coaching teams in both Spring and Fall seasons including several recreational league All-Star teams. He has been very involved with Garner Sports League as a coach, a Board Member, and the current Vice President of Garner Sports League.
Mike has seen the sport of baseball from multiple angles, playing the sport in his youth, playing in a local wood bat men's league as an adult, being an official scorekeeper and also as an umpire. His love of the game of baseball keeps him involved and he often can be found at the field working with players to help them improve.

Coach Adam Creech, Head Coach of the Garner Generals 10u team.

Coach Adam is competitive, has a wealth of knowledge and love for the game of baseball. Bringing a one of a kind sense of humor and joy to all those he has coached and shared the ball field with.


Kevin Greene
Kevin started volunteering his time coaching baseball to help out with both his boys' Recreational baseball teams with Garner Sports League. Kevin has been coaching since 2012 for Rec Ball and in 2016 started coaching Travel Ball for the Generals. Kevin really enjoys the game and helping all of the boys develop their skills and learn sportsmanship along the way.


Cory Larsen


Rob Matey
Rob's passion for baseball started at a very young age. He has been around the game most of his life as first a player and now a coach. He has coached both his boys in various leagues around the Triangle Region including Garner Sports League, West Raleigh, I9 Sports, City of Raleigh, and now the Generals. His focus is on teaching sound fundamentals, fostering a healthy team environment and most of all making sure the kids have fun.


Elisha Martinez
Coach Elisha is passionate about player development, team unity, and strategic excellence. She believes in coaching with purpose: every drill, every game plan, and every conversation is an opportunity to grow. Her goal is to instill confidence, accountability, and a love for the game in every athlete she works with.
Coach Elisha is a disciplined and energetic softball coach with a structured approach to training and leadership. She specializes in building cohesive teams, designing performance-driven programs, and mentoring athletes to reach their full potential—on and off the field. Her coaching style blends tactical precision with motivational support, creating an environment where athletes thrive.
Her personal playing experience started as a young girl at age 10 where she was a shortstop. In high school, she was a team captain all 4 years as a pitcher, making All-Stars 3 out of those 4 years.
